I remember a motorshow.. me as a little boy walking trough all sportscars .. I saw a ferrari f50.. but I saw in that mirror a shiny thing and run to that. yes i felt in love with the mercedes clk gtr (race version) . almost 15 years later is it still my favourite car ever
@megamaximus07 20 Road cars, and 6 road car roadster versions were built all 26 of these had the 6.8L V12. There were also 5 Super Sport versions with a 7.3L V12.
Total production = 31
One of the Super Sports versions is currently for sale at Ferrari of Fort Lauderdale for 1.9MM.
500SL? I thought that car was superbly stable. Do you mean the 300SL Gullwing? James May did a review of that car on Top Gear and noted if you entered a corner with no power on, you would slide out of control. Feel free to correct me if I am missing something, though.
this is where AMG have MPower stuck, MPower#s credibility stop at road performance cars, but when it comes to constructing true supercars from their existing range NO ONE does it better. And the best product atm of all the Audi “S” line, BMW M-power and Merc AMG cars is the one and only CLK AMG BLACK which can chase down Italien supercars whilst keeping you in ultimate comfort, not to mention the CL 63 AMG, but that is far less raw.
@AtomicFreerun you’re damn right!

too much frontal overhangs which act like airplane wings at high speeds once a certain angle pitch is achieved the car goes airbourne
They won 10 out of 10 GT Races beating McLaren-BMW and Porsche factory teams
