@hadabenz Because, in america thats all most care about. They aren’t going to go Jeremy Clarkson on the car and load it with a bunch of little people. People just want to know how fast is it, how fast can it turn and how quickly can I stop.
This will be my second E class!!!!!!! firs one is 2003 e 320 that I put 120 000 mi with 0 problems and 100% satisfaction. Thank You Mercedes I Will alway drive U and all my family will !!!

@hadabenz Alright, you do that. Like I said, this is in no way the full review. I didn’t see them put a towing rig behind it, or try curb hoping or anything… If you can’t stand to see your favourite car tested in some way that isn’t abusive to it, I’d say you need to spend some alone time to get over yourself and re-evaluate why it’s your favourite. No car is perfect, and if you can’t admit there are flaws somewhere…

@hadabenz wow… what’s your problem? For a four-door “greener” car, it put down some not bad numbers. If you don’t like the way they test, why do you watch them?

Not bad results, the 3 series D still blows it away. Wish more auto makers would bring diesel cars here. Theyre alotta fun in Europe!
@hadabenz What part of “track test” is not about facts, facts, facts? Yes, they don’t necessarily need to do them for every vehicle they test, but they give a good example of acceleration, braking, and handling, which are what’s important for the track.
Also worth noting, these vids are teasers that aim to get you to read their reviews. It’s not the whole thing, as you point out.

@keviiinn Different “engine types.” Diesel truck engines are made for being heavy duty work horses. They are for pulling trailers and carrying lots of weight. Car diesels aren’t made for that, and therefore aren’t as big and loud.

Diesels are not 0-60 cars. They are known for their mid range punch. That torque rich, push you back in the seat, pulling away from that tailgater, on the highway passing power!
how come these european diesel exhausts are so quiet, but american diesel trucks and pickups are so damn loud

@hadabenz what other “way of testing” is there? if you’re just “having fun”, it’s not accurate testing…
mercedes could do more with the diesel engine. I’ve seen track cars with diesel engine and they get amazing mpg and very good performance. Mated with their Blutec systems it should pass emissions just fine.
@hadabenz lol its not the “American” way of testing. Just a standardized base set of parameters Edmunds car site uses to judge a car’s performance for their reviews

@MrChristianzz Thats a stupid comment. This car is the most masculine looking 2 seat roadster in its class. This is not defined as a “girls car” or a “man’s car”, but it is more masculine than the last two models. If you want something much more “manly” then get the AMG version when it comes out. Women dont drive AMGs. Too fast and impractical for them.
